Port Kembla Coal Terminal operates many electrical and mechanical systems to regulate water usage at its plant. This equipment is sophisticated and requires specific knowledge and training.

We were asked to produce an interactive CD-ROM with which employees would familiarise themselves with the technical specifications and operating instructions of PKCT’s equipment. The CD-ROM — now also hosted on PKCT’s intranet — is a web browser based application enabling users to view videos and download operating manuals for each piece of equipment.

Our responsibilities in production of the videos extended to creative direction, graphic assets and coordinating the videography. We also created the highly interactive web pages and Flash content ensuring that relevant documents for each of the videos was available whilst that video is being presented in the “Related Documents” section.
